    Happy New Year!  Hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday with your family.  As we head back to school, please send your child to school prepared for the day’s weather.  We are outside unless we absolutely can’t be, so extra mitts and socks and dressing in layers is helpful.

    The Wakefield Elementary Home and School Association would like to thank all the parents who came with their children to the Family Movie Night fundraiser on Friday. With your support we raised $605.00 for the school. We know that there were issues with the quality of the display and the sound. We will try to find solutions to these issues before planning a similar event in the future. We thank you again for your support.

    Thanks to a grant from the Municipality that provides bussing and ice time, our classes will be skating at the Masham Arena this month. The schedule is as follows: December 12th: Cycle 2 (Grades 3+4) 9AM-11AM December 14th: K4, K5 and Cycle 1 (Grade 1+2) 9AM-11AM December 18th: Cycle 3 (Grades 5+6) 9AM-11AM
