Principal’s Message- Nov 1, 2018

Date: November 1, 2018 Author: Julie Fram-Greig Categories: Principal's Message

FROM THE PRINCIPAL: Here we are at the end of the first term of school already! We are looking forward to meeting with you at the upcoming Parent-Teacher Interviews on November 22 & 23. We will be using Sign-Up Genius software again this year to schedule our interview slots. You will be sent an invitation to meet with your child’s teaching team. The interview times are on a first come, first served basis. Details to come in a separate email. A reminder to check the weather in the mornings and send your child to school dressed for the weather- we almost always go outside! Thanks to the WEHSA parents who organized a very successful Halloween event last Friday! It was very well attended and lots of fun! Thanks also for donating to the We Scare Hunger food drive campaign! The Me to We committee will be donating these food items to our local food bank. Our monthly virtue for November is Showing Respect. At our assembly, we explained that respect means that you care enough about someone to think about their feelings. We talked about three types of respect: self- respect, respect for our environment and respect for others. Our challenge this month is to say good morning, hello, goodbye to one another in the hallways even more than we already do and to keep our classrooms clean!
