MEET THE TEACHER Meet The Teacher Night will be held on Thursday, September 13th from 5:00-7:00pm.
Meet the Teacher is an opportunity for you to meet your child’s teachers in their classroom, to review expectations and curriculum requirements for this year as well as assessment and evaluation guidelines. This is not a personal interview; should you wish to discuss concern about your child specifically, please feel free to contact the school to set up an appointment. As well, because this is a focus on curriculum and evaluation, it would be preferable to meet as adults and not have your child in attendance.
Looking forward to seeing you then!

GOVERNING BOARD The Governing Board General Assembly will be held on the same evening right after Meet the Teacher- Sept 13th at 7pm in the gym. Please note that we are holding elections for positions. If you interested in learning more about Governing Board or are interested in being a member of the board, please stay for the meeting. Details attached.

PHOTO DAY School photos take place on Friday, September 14.

TERRY FOX We are doing our annual Terry Fox walk again this year with the whole school, but taking a different route. We are doing this on Thur, Sept 20th at 9:10am- parents are welcome to join us!! We will also be doing Toonies for Terry- please donate a toonie and all proceeds collected will be sent on to the Canadian Cancer Society.

ORANGE SHIRT DAY This year, we are participating in the Orange Shirt campaign on September 28th (the official day is Sunday Sept 30th). Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come. We are still in the planning stages of this day- details to come.
